🇺🇸 English version below ⬇️

Screw-on attachment for standard 1.5 liter and 2 liter Coke bottles, with which you can recreate the classic kitchen experiment
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soda_geyser

Holds up to 9 Mentos and seals completely, so that all the pressure goes into a nice tall fountain (approx 5-6 meters). 🐳 There are four different versions, which only differ by the hole at the tip. Size S produces a longer-lasting fountain, but partially atomizes. XXL makes a thick jet and was always my first choice.

You can see them in action here:

🧲 This version works magnetically: The Mentos are held by a 20mm washer from the hardware store and kept in position from the outside with a magnetic clip. When the clip is pulled away, the washer and Mentos drop down. The clip is suitable for 12x5mm magnets. I had to search a bit to find good quality ones that are strong enough to hold the Mentos through the filament: https://amzn.to/4mOHrgn

(Amazon affiliate link: If you order via the link, I receive a small commission. However, no additional costs arise for you).

✅ Tested with original Coca Cola Light and Coke Zero. I have not tested discount brands, where the thread might possibly be slightly different.

🤝 The thread used in the model is remixed from this fantastic model, a thousand thanks to Ohrenstoepsel for the preliminary work:

I made it minimally smaller, by 1mm. That resulted in a tighter grip around the bottle neck for me and completely seals the bottle at the bottom. Tip: The attachment must be pressed onto the bottle thread once with some force (i.e., pressed straight down vertically) before it can then be screwed on. I would recommend testing it once with an empty bottle, then it will work a bit more smoothly on the second screw-on.

Have fun recreating it!
