Description

UPDATES: 7.5oz | 8.4oz | 16oz now available! Both in 12 can and Shortie sizes

****** ALSO ******

Right Hand and Left Hand versions are now available as PLATES in each print profile (Original and Model photo show the right hand version)

ACTUAL PRINT TIME AND MATERIAL IS HALF OF WHAT IS SHOWN FOR THE PRINT PROFILE

UPDATES: Shorter length now available! <15" long! “Shortie 12oz Regular”

UPDATES: Different can sizes are now available! Choose your size in from the print profile list.

Can dispenser that holds twelve 12oz cans! Two 6-packs of 🍺! Half a rack of vitamin R!

Put this in your pantry or even fit it in the refrigerator. Mix and match cans in the dispenser too because you can pull them out of the side with this design. Prints on 1 plate if sticking to 1 color, although the Coca-Cola logo would look pretty cool in black. I will post another profile later without the logo and maybe more filament savings. Enjoy 🎉

There is a paint feature inside Bambu Studio. Select Prepare -> Paint -> Fill (tool type), select a color then click on a surface. Fill will fill any contour / shape and there are other paint tools that would be better depending on the situation.

Thanks so much for making the shorter one. It looks great and looks like it will fit together, and fit perfect in the fridge. I chose to use a .6 nozzle, so I did not actually use this profile except for the model. (I like to use .6 for bigger functional parts.) I am boosting it and putting 5 stars. I can't say more because I can't slide the dovetail in probably due to my print settings being not as detailed as they need. I will file it down and likely taking the dovetail off to glue it

Thank you for the support! This has been a fun model to share. This makes sense, I designed the radius of the dovetails to be just large enough for the .4 nozzle to fit. I would think the slicer would keep that tool path inside the peremiter though. S even if the nozzle didn’t fit in that corner I would expect it to come out undersized or loose… I’m happy to look into it if you keep having trouble!

I got tired of filing while watching TV so I used one of my tried and true methods, which is: silicone grease and a rubber mallet. It worked! The dovetail popped a little bit out on one side, but it is full of cans now and looks great. If it fails, I will reprint it proper with a .4 nozzle. (The .6 print was less than 6 hours though!). Adding a picture.

Works as it should, not a single problem with that. Only thing is that it is a bit too long to fit my fridge and it is a bit too long to fit in my ikea pax cabinet that is 58cm deep so it now is on my desk :)

Maybe a 10 or 8 can remix would work for you?

Needed a lot of sanding. Imho a bit more tolerance would be better.

Did you print with a material other than PLA?

It was Bambu PLA Basic. Perhaps I'll reprint...

@schiko Thank you for the comment. This is the first I’ve heard of someone having a problem with the dovetail. The wall that the external dovetail prints on is fairly thin. For you did it feel/look worse as it gets further away from the build plate?

Dove tails perfect fit As others have said the lip needs to be higher, when you pull a soda out the rest will push the next one over if your not careful you will have a landslide coming out the fridge. Shes THICC Matte Blue PLA

Cool, by how much taller? Did you print and test it? All I see are CGI photos.

I am 2/3 of the way through this print and loving it so far. I see you're good at taking people's suggestions and running with it, and I may be pushing it. As a person like myself not owning an AMS just yet. I see the logo inlaid beautifully. Is it possible to have the logo printed separate, as a different color. so it can be applied inside the inlay? (For the 12oz rack)

Hi! This is definitely possible. I will let you know when I've got that and I could just create another print profile to include the necessary pieces on another plate. I've been quite busy but maybe I can bust this out soon.

You can colorize it yourself as others have done. In Bambu Studio select model. In the toolbar select the paint tool. This has about 6 methods of painting something select the Fill Tool type. Select a color and click the location you want to paint.

Boosted! What a great model. We have 4 person household with 4 different tastes in soda. The side being opened is a godsend for us. Printed this in duel color (black/purple) PLA Silk. Took almost 15hrs to print the "shortie" version, but well worth the time and effort. Came together with little effort, no glue needed. Just a little push with dovetail alignment proper and straight, and it was in one piece. Will keep this model in my files to print another larger one for my "She-shed" fridge.

this is the second print from the carbon. even after shaving down it is not possible to put together. this is the slim can version I’m assuming it was modified from the original and that’s why it doesn’t work?

Thank you for taking the time to identify which print profile. I’ll take a look into this to see where the issue lies. Hopefully will have an updated model soon!

Ya I printed 3 of the slim can in different filaments and you cant assemble them. All 3 got destroyed trying. Dove tails are just not right.

I have new files now! I am planning to add a plate for users to print a sample that checks the dovetails before hand if they are worried about this happening. For now, I recommend you use the Bambu built in tools to slice the model so you only have about a 1/4" section of the male and female dovetail features. Print in the same orientation as the other plates. Should be under 1hr print.

Like a few others in the comments mentioned, dovetail on the shortie is a little too tight. Made it about 30% in with some excessive force, but then couldn’t back out. Follow the advice of other commenters and do some sanding/filing :) Printed with PLA matte, .4 nozzle, using BBL A1 .20mm Standard profile.
