A friendly tip: try loosening the mechanism by bending the fingers themselves (not from the rings) first ;)
This is the second version of my Overengineered Mechanical Fidget Hand, and it is what you have been asking for!
- 4 fingers
- larger
- easier to print with less stiff joints and improved thicker joins for better strength!
- Left hand version and longer reach version
This awesome print is fully functional straight off the printer—no supports, no assembly required (except for the thumb 😉).
Control the hand by pulling the rings, and you’ll be surprised at how strong the grip is! It’s ridiculously fun to grab anything (and anyone) around the house.
Assembly couldn’t be easier: just press-fit the thumb into its socket, and you’re ready to go. Enjoy your new fidget hand!
