In the deepest, lightless caverns beneath the frostbitten pines, something stirs. The Hollow Howler was once a guardian spirit, tasked with keeping the balance between the living and the dead. But centuries of betrayal and forgotten offerings twisted its form into the skeletal, dripping nightmare it is now.
Its hollowed chest is said to be a portal to the realm of lost souls â you can hear faint whispers if you dare to get close. When it stalks the woods, icicles form on the trees and the air grows unnaturally still. The unlucky who cross its path are paralyzed by its chilling scream, their spirits drawn into the hollow until only a lifeless husk remains.
Legends say it cannot be killed by blade or fire, only bound with iron chains forged under a new moon and sealed with blood. Few hunters have tried. None have returned.
