A Cooler Case for NanoPi R2S

Introduction: 

The original yellow case for the NanoPi R2S was too simple and poorly cooling, so I designed this improved solution.Note that this case is only suitable for older micro-USB motherboards, not for newer TYPE-C motherboards.The cutout for the fan only applies to the fan and heatsink that comes with the original yellow case, it does not apply to third party fans. Passive cooling without a fan is also possible.

I've added two soft clips to reduce vibration and absorb pressure during compression deformation. I recommend printing these clips in TPU, though other hard materials are perfectly acceptable. 

The cover includes some basic indication. I did not use LAN/WAN labels, as you basically can assign any port as the WAN port in firmware. I directly labelled the interface order, which I believe is more convenient. 

Additionally, the cover comes in two versions: dual-colour material and gravure printing. You can select based on the name of the printing plates. 

Installation:

1. Install the USB-side soft clip onto the motherboard, then place it into the enclosure and insert the soft clip on the other side. Note that the arrow on the soft clip should point to the front of the motherboard. 

   

2. Slide the top cover into the enclosure.

   

3. Use M2*8 screws to secure the caps at both ends. I prepared two versions of the enclosure, using only self-tapping screws and using regular screws and heat fused nuts. You can find the versions by the name of the printing plate in the profile.

   

4. Apply 10mm non-slip pads to the bottom.
