Filament Clip (AMS & AMS 2 Pro Compatible)
This filament clip is designed for Bambu Lab spools and works smoothly with the AMS and AMS 2 Pro.
It only extends 1.5 mm from the spool and has a beveled edge, preventing it from catching inside the AMS and avoiding the error “Assist motor is overloaded.”
The clip locks securely into the spool holes and features a small angled channel that provides just enough resistance to hold the filament in place. You can usually push the clips in by hand, but I recommend using pliers to make the process easier.
PLA works fine, but PETG or ABS are also good choices.
For the spool drying feature of the AMS 2 Pro i would recommend using PETG or ABS.
Models are included in different set sizes so you can print just a few or stock up at once.
