Tired of reaching around your printer just to turn it ON or OFF?
This simple but effective mod brings the power switch to the front of your H2D.
No more awkward stretching, no wasted space, just slide it under your printer and use!
This is a version for H2D/H2S printers, other models available:
Any Material – PLA, PETG, ABS… works with whatever filament you have, BUT make sure to select at least 5 walls, 20% infill and 6 top/bottom shells. Because those parts are large and want to bend a little - but we need them to be sturdy.
No Extra Parts or tools needed – no screws or any other hardware needed (in some cases you need superglue)
Easy Installation – just lift the right side of your printer slightly and slide it under
Space-Saving – no extra clearance needed at the sides or back
Hot-Swap Ready – can be installed even while the power cord is plugged in and printer is on.
Lock ready - you can use plastic click lock against accidental push, or install real mini lock.
Print and click all together like in this drawing.
As power button on H2D is very stiff, you need to adjust position of that back part, so that it has enough force to click your button.
After testing that it works, if it is very loose, use a drop of superglue to fix it in place.
I noticed that on H2D when printing full plate objects, its better to turn on manual plate calibration.

With this extender, you’ll always have fast and convenient access to your power switch — without changing your setup or disassembling your printer.
Additionally, if you want, you can print button from other color, and print ON/OFF letters, look on 2nd plate.
For now i don't have video for H2D, but here is for P1/X1, but it's similar for H2D.
Have a look at my other models too!
