Straightedge - Flatness Measuring Tool

Ladies and Gentlemen…

I am proud to present you a 3D printed Straightedge.

We all know it !!!

Everyone wants to check the flatness of something at some point. Print-Beds, PEI-Plates, Aluminum-Extrusions etc.

But that's exactly when you usually don't have the right tools at hand.

However, Straightedges can also be very expensive to purchase if you haven't bought one yet.

This is the solution !!!

It is not possible to slide a 0.02mm Feeler-Gauge underneath it.

0.02mm is a fifth of the thickness of a normal piece of paper. A fifth !!!  Even a human hair is usually twice as thick as 0.02mm.

So it's very precise !!!

Please convince yourselves by printing one for you, your workshop or friends.

The Straightedge comes in 6 different sizes.

The most common lengths are: 100mm, 120mm, 150mm, 180mm, 200mm, 250mm

Note:

I highly recommend printing it vertically.

Otherwise the slightest unevenness of your print bed will be transferred to the straightedge.

That's exactly what we don't want !!!
