This modification allows you to draw air into the chamber, improving heat circulation and preventing cooling during printing. It requires a 4mm self-tapping screw, 1-2mm self-tapping screws, and of course the original fans. The design I created also includes space for an activated carbon filter. I have already put many hours into this mod. It has allowed me to significantly quiet the machine, also with other accessories, and to maintain relatively high chamber temperatures (though never reaching the declared 60 degrees, even with insulation)

If you like it, leave a boost, a couple of hours in CAD went into this

I printed it in ABS, but it would be better to use rigid materials. However, it still works great

It does not interfere with extruder movements

How does this compare/differ from the mod published by absurdly_nerdly? https://www.printables.com/model/1396419-elegoo-centauri-carbon-fan-recirculation-mod-major Obviously there's some visual differences but I was wondering how that translates to performance and noise reduction?

No his design seems to just require a cable extension and some screws, they're still the stock fans.

honestly i’ve tried to use his design but my stock fans didn’t fit, maybe it was an elder release of the CC

Lower the build plate til its about halfway, set the plate heater to 100c, put your hotend in the middle...and turn your model fan on it'll hit around 55-60c in around 30 minutes
