Angle Clamp V3 Fully 3D Printed
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is probably the best clamp I have designed so far, this angle clamp is fully 3D Printable no hardware, its easy to print, easy to assemble, the thread is Trapezoidal making it quicker to screw in/out, first time I have used this type of thread and it works a treat.
Assembly is a breeze with only 5 Components.
To assemble:
Screw the thread into the main body of the clamp approx half way, align the triangle shaped clamp with the screw and slide onto the thread, secure the thread via the slot with the removable thread retaining clip, turn the clamp upside down and align and insert the guide block, this only fits one way, use a ittle CA Glue or similar for a more permanent solution, and that is it, the clamp can be secured to a surface with the 4 countersunk holes.
The clamp has a working area of 40mm between the jaws.
I have scaled this clamp down to 80% from original as well so we know it scales.
Note:
I always print a prototype and then make any necessary adjustments before printing the final, this clamp works perfectly, the threads are off-set and work perfectly, all components fit together perfectly.
I printed with a Bambulab X1 Carbon with a PEI Textured plate, due to some of the components printing vertically like the screw and combined handle and the thread retaining clip, I prefer to use 3D Laq rather than a Brim, so please bear this in mind, I always calibrate the machine before every print as well, if anyone has issues with tight threads etc then I would look to your machine print settings.
The screw is printed at 100% for additional strength, the main clamp body has minimal tree supports for the guide block channel, these stay with the build plate when removing the component.
Great Clamp, Great Design Project.
Thanks for Looking.
