Description

This is just a simple gauge pod I threw together because I wanted a different look. Installation requires the removal of the vent louvers, sorry you won't be able to steer the air anymore. like I said, it's simple so no top or bottom layers, and honeycomb infill to allow air to flow around the perimeter. I printed mine in Siraya Tech PAHT-CF then clear coated it; I'm sure it'd work just as well (less inhaled carbon fibers) in a filament like ABS or anything that can withstand summer heat.

Printed by author on X1C (resistor mod, revo 0.6 ruby nozzle, G10 Build Platform, Heated Chamber)

0.42 Layer
3 Walls
0 Top Shell
0 Bottom Shell
7% Honeycomb Infill
No Support

.3mf has a toroidal modifier to increase infill around the lower perimeter. This area is obstructed when the vent/gauge pod is reassembled, so I wanted to add back in some material here, probably unnecessary.

This may fit other ford models, I'm not sure. It has only been tested and used on a 2008 F-250 PSD.
