Note: This is the lamp shade only. It was designed to fit THIS lamp base. You will also need a LED Lamp Kit-001 (or compatible alternative). The completed lamp (lamp shade+lamp base) requires only around ~52g of filament and prints in less than 2.5 hours.
Bring a touch of divine radiance to your desk or nightstand with this Helios Twist Lampshade. It's Elegant, lightweight, and inspired by the Greek god of the sun. Rising to ~178mm tall, this lampshade prints fast in spiral vase mode, uses just ~30g of filament, and adds a modern, sun-kissed glow to any space. Efficient, stylish, and maker-friendly.
Installation is easy.
- Install the LED Lamp Kit-001 into the lamp base.
- Twist on the lamp base cap.
- Fit this lamp shade into the flange of the completed lamp base. (glue is optional)
- Done!
Please handle the shade with care, especially when removing from the build plate. I wouldn't say it's fragile, but it is quite delicate. It should release from the plate easily if you allow it to cool then gently flex your build plate in each direction.
Use my print profile. The model relies on settings and modifiers for the perfect print.
As always, clean your build plate and dry/calibrate your filament for optimal results.
