🛠️ Sanding Tool with Integrated Tensioner

I have created a practical sanding tool for wood, designed to simplify and speed up manual sanding tasks by inserting the grit number of the sandpaper you will mount on the pin, making the work much easier and faster

🔹 Key Features:

  • Top pin system with numbering for simple and precise mounting
  • Rear tensioner that allows for quick and stable tensioning of the abrasive paper
  • Uses sandpaper with a length of 22 cm, easily found and replaceable
  • Compact and ergonomic design, ideal for working on wood surfaces
  • The locking pin indicates the grit number of the sandpaper mounted on the sander

🔹 Advantages:

  • Keeps the sandpaper tightly stretched, avoiding creases and waste
  • Facilitates manual sanding, improving precision and reducing fatigue
  • Perfect for both hobbyists and those who work with wood more professionally

If you are looking for a practical, robust, and easy-to-use tool for uniform sanding, this sanding tool is the right solution

This was just what I was looking for. I built a cube in Bambu Studio, resized it to a rectangle and added negative cylinder holes to house the numbered pins.

The numbers are preset, you can find them all in the file, just cut what you need with Bambu Studio, if the number you need is not there, tell me and I will create it for you today and update the print file 😉👍

Not sure why but I though it was going to be bigger in the original file design. Something that would hold a normal width of sandpaper. I do love the tightening mechanism and the grit labels though. Thank you for sharing!

I love this sanding block, especially the numbered pins with grits and that it's expandable. I've already printed a couple so far. This is going to be perfect for my wood working projects. One thing that would be nice is a simple storage block with holes to hold the unused locking pins.
