Description

Give your camper awning a helping hand – or rather, a firm grip!
This 3D-printed clamp for piping rails (Kederschienen) is the perfect companion for your awning setup. Designed and tested on the Fiamma F65, it’s ready to hold accessories, lights, tarps, or that mystery gadget you bought for “just in case” moments.

Why you’ll love it:

  • 🛠 Easy to print, easy to use – no complicated hardware, just good design.
  • 💪 Strong & secure – holds your gear without scratching your awning rail.
  • 🚐 Perfect fit for campers – tested on Fiamma F65, fits most piping rails.
  • 🌦 Extra functionality – add hanging points, stabilizers, or custom attachments.

Assembly in 3 simple steps:

  1. Print the parts – use sturdy filament for maximum strength.
  2. Prepare the bolt – join the two threaded parts and screw them tightly into the bolt.
  3. Clamp it up – insert the bolt into the clamp, slide it into your awning rail, and you’re ready to go!

Whether you want to hang a light strip for cozy evenings, attach a side tarp for more shade, or simply show off your 3D printing skills at the campground, this clamp has you covered.

I took great inspiration from the design from @Rick_Z and his Sunshade clamp https://makerworld.com/de/models/1432904-sunshade-clamp-for-awnings-fiamma-omnistore?from=search#profileId-1490301 and made some adjustments since it did not fit my rail. I completely designed the parts from ground up new.

  • Added a flexible connection so it prints as a single part
  • change in clamping structure
  • Different bolt design with rounded corners
  • wider clamp
