Welcome!

I love my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, but I couldn't find a nice charging dock that will allow me to charge my phone in the “unfolded” state. So I made one!

Update 1:

Redesign of the Dock - Stroger design, better magsafe alignment, works with larger cases, full support for the new dbrand case.

What do we need for this Dock?

This design uses the “Anker Zolo Magnetic Wireless Charger”, which is a really cheap Qi2 wireless charger.
It costs about 25 USD for a pair! (Amazon Link).
The 3D Printed Part.

Variants

Regular Dock - For a phone without a case or a regular case (no hinge cover).
Hinge Cover Dock - For a phone with a case that has a hinge cover.

Material: PLA Works Fine
Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Vertical Walls: 2
Infill: 15%
Supports: None

My husband asked me to print this for his zfold 7. Printed flawlessly with no adjustments or supports needed. The puck fit snugly in the space White pla filament .08 layer height

I finally modded the case for my Otterbox case. I had to move the hinge groove and raise the pad about 5mm. The camera cutout also needed to change, but the basic model is great.

Must have if you own the fold 7 or any other foldable phone. Print came out perfect, more than likely don't need the tree support (I used base settings for my printer). Thank you for providing this 👍

So I love this, this is something I've wanted to make for years, ever since I got my first fold phone. Just never got around to it. This came out great, just added some silicon feet to the bottom and I love it!

Love this. I printed 2 (one for work, one for home). No supports needed and the recommended charger fits perfectly. The only change I would want is an option to hold the phone rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise. This would allow plugging in storage or usbc headphones while on the charger.

Printed flawlessly!!! Is there a way to add the camera notch to the left of the stand as well? Would like to be able to fold the phone and have it sit on the stand without charging when it's completely charged.
