Description
Cable Counterweight for Improved Retraction
This component functions as a cable counterweight, designed to enhance the retraction behavior of the cable system. The internal cavity can be filled with a material of your choice to achieve the necessary mass—steel ball bearings were used in this instance for their high density and compact form factor.
The 3D print includes two integrated cable guides:
- One guide is designed to accommodate a bearing ( 693ZZ 3 mm x 8 mm x 4 mm ) for smoother movement .
- The other is a standard guide without a bearing, offering a simpler alternative.
