This coupling is compatible with the Gardena system and can be used interchangeably.

This quick coupling locks automatically when the two coupling pieces are pushed into each other,

and automatically separates them again by pulling them apart.

Printed with Sunlu-PETG as good layer adhesion can be achieved with it and it is weather resistant.

Additional parts required:

2x ballpoint pen spring with outer diameter 4mm and length 25mm, wire diameter 0.4mm

( shorter springs could be stretched or lengthened accordingly )

For the ½" hose connection, an O-ring 11mm x 2.5mm (inner diameter x thickness) is required, corresponding to a "Gardena O-ring".

Well, it holds out the 3 bar of our garden pump. So cant say anything bad about that. Printed it in eSun PLA Basic though. Very well done. yes I jokingly made a picture with all our spare ballpoint pens. 😅

I love the design on this -- really really thoughtful and functional! Everything printed fine and assembled just fine, but I'm fighting a slight leak on my connectors. I used teflon tape on the threads over the locking nut and ensured I used the correct Gardena o-rings (11mm ID/16mm OD/~2.5mm thick). Any other ideas? Scared to keep cranking down on the locking nut as I don't want to crack anything. All printed in Sunlu Black PETG. Cheers!

Just realized it may be my textured build plate contributing to this leakage (uneven sealing surface)

The issue was a with the sealing o-ring after all. I was using some ones I ordered on Amazon that I thought were Gardena replicas but I guess not. printed some much better fitting ones and the leak stopped (fyi, incase anyone else goes down this road) 👍

I’ve been testing all different types of gardena attachment prints and I found a coupling that has a weak closing mechanism for the locking of the quick coupling and yours is the first I seen that is almost similar to the actual Gardena hose end, are you by any chance making a 3/4 in the near future? bought a new house and was given 3/4 hoses lol
