AirPods Max Stand with Sleep Mode

This is a stand for AirPods Max. It has sleep functionality thanks to 8 set of magnets. It is designed to work with N35 to N52 magnets. The stronger the better. There are 2 sets on all corners so that there is a little leeway for sleep mod activation. You can print it right-side up or upside down. If you prefer the textured top finish, go for upside down (but you'll sacrifice surface quality of the slots because of supports). I printed right-side up myself. Let me know if you want it with different magnet slots. Or you can edit the Onshape file below yourself.

Important Note:

There is a pause in all print profiles. When paused, you just apply a bit of super glue into each slot and drop the magnets. If you are using 6 x 2mm or 4 x 2mm magnets you'll need to drop 2 magnets in each slot. If you are using 6 x 4mm or 4 x 4mm magnets, you need to drop 1 on each slot. If you are dropping 2 magnets into each slot, make sure to glue them to each other before gluing them to the slot.

Make sure that magnets are oriented like this (flipping all polarities also work, check the examples below):

Non-printed Part Requirements:

There are 2 versions, one with the 6mm diameter magnets and one with the 4mm diameter magnets.

For 6mm magnets:

• 6 x 2mm or 6 x 4mm circular magnets → Quantity: 16 (if you are using 6 x 2) or 8 (if you are using 6 x 4)

For 4mm magnets:

• 4 x 2mm or 4 x 4mm circular magnets → Quantity: 16 (if you are using 4 x 2) or 8 (if you are using 4 x 4)
