Description

A stand to hold your AirPods Max and put them into deep sleep mode, just like the case, when you add the magnets.

There's effort room to have the AirPods Max plugged in while on the stand and an opening in the back to hold the charging cord when not in use. Works with Apples official changing cable.

Extra Parts:

There's a version for ¼ x ¼ Neodymium Magnets or 6mm x 6mm Round Neodymium Magnets

**Polarity of magnets is not important.

TIP: Put some rubber bumpers on the bottom to help it not move.

Very nice model! I used the print profile with the same settings except that I added a pause at level 231. This way you can put the magnets in (use a drop of superglue so they don't stick to the nozzle), continue printing and end up with a nice result with invisible magnets. I uploaded my slightly modified profile in case anyone wants to use it. Thank you for the great AirPods Max stand!!

prints well, think super glue is a must if you are using the hardened steel nozzle. Apparently the stainless steel one is not magnetic so might not need to use super glue if your nozzle is stainless steel. Only issue(?) is i cant tell if the headphone is asleep and while orientation to set it in

I must correct my previous response: I've discovered that, at least in my experience, positioning them this way causes the headphones to disconnect from the iPhone when inserted into the dock Keep the headphones in a free state—connect them to the iPhone—insert the headphones into the dock in this manner—the headphones disconnect from the iPhone

OH, MY BAD. You definitely need the magnets or they wont go into sleep mode. I realised looking at the pic that the knob side is on the right

Printed great! Sliced myself with 10% gyroid infill, .16mm layer height in Bambu PLA. had some 6x2mm magnets and they fit easily. I tested the magnet polarity by holding the magnets close to the holes and watching for the headphones to disconnect from my phone, it didn't seem to matter what orientation they were in.

printed with Ziro Silky PLA that almost identical to the AirPod Max grey colour - the top surface around the magnet came out a bit rough due to the superglue but still looks excellent thanks!

Printed very nicely and the magnets are well hidden with this color. The post states 4 magnets are needed, but I only found a spot for 2; nonetheless it works well to put the AirPods into sleep mode.

great design and profile. I made a mistake put too much glue on the left magnet which is why it’s still visible, might re print it soon.
