Description

KIA EV3 - Rear Dashcam Clip

A simple clip to mount a rear camera for a dashcam setup inside the KIA EV3

For some reason double sided stickers of all kinds refuse to stick to the inside material of the KIA EV3. Thats why I designed a little clip that can be snapped onto the toppanel inside the trunk of the car.

The dashcam I'm using is a AZDome M63 Pro and the clip is designed for a AZDome FullHD rear camera. You can always try to stick another camera onto it, or leave an suggestion for a edited version of this clip that can fit your camera.

Disclaimer: I'm not in any way responsible for any damage to your car, inside panel or camera in any way. Though in my opinion not much can go wrong when you know what you are doing, be aware to do this at your own risk.

To attach your clip, you need to take off the top panel inside the trunk door. This will normally just snap off since this panel is attached with clips. It will snap right onto the middle hook/edge of the panel. To install the panel, position it and push it back into the trunk door.

This part will be printed vertical, with supports, for optimal print orientation. A different print orientation will result in a weak print due to the orientation of layer lines. Print this in PETG or stronger materials like ABS, ASA or PC to avoid warping inside the car.
