Model Description

- Movable wheels, no glue required for assembly. Front and rear tires are different sizes.

- All wheel hubs for 1/64 scale cars under this account are interchangeable. Browse the homepage and download your favorite wheel hub styles.

- 1/43 scale: Enlarge by 150% and print with 0.16mm layer height
- Slicer files use minimal printer size settings. You can adjust the number of models printed at once according to your printer size to save time and filament.

 

FDM Print Settings

- The physical model was printed using the A1 mini's 0.4mm nozzle, 0.12mm layer height, and official PLA. Better results can be achieved with higher parameter equipment, settings, and filaments. (Assembly might be too tight or too loose; this can be compensated by adjusting the XY contour size of the assembly or by using sanding tools and 409 super glue for processing and connection.)
- Infill density: 15%. To increase the model's weighty feel, the infill density can be adjusted to 100%
- Supports: A combination of normal and tree supports was used.

Support Removal Instructions

- The model is small, and supports have been added at critical points. Support removal requires flush cutters and tweezers. Breaking supports off by hand will likely lead to structural breakage, especially in the side mirrors and rear wing sections.

- Tip: To ensure successful removal of supports from multi-color models and avoid breakage, you can first print a single-color model for practice to understand the model and support structures, then remove supports from the multi-color model. (If any breakage occurs, 409 super glue can be used to reattach parts.)

 

Single-Color Painting Reference (Printed with white filament)

- Sanding: (Optional) Sand in the order of 400-600-800 grit.

- Painting: Use acrylic paints with brushes (for issues with layer lines penetrating edges, you can first apply the main color over a large area, then paint the edges).

- Polishing: Use a flannel cloth to sand and polish, making the acrylic paint glossy.

 

Assembly Instructions

- For long-term stability, the wheels require appropriate force to install and will be quite tight initially when rotated. After playing with them a few times, they will become more flexible. See the GIF demonstration for wheel installation.
