Description

There are some really great filament clips out there for Bambu spools and older Sunlu spools. However, in February 2025, Sunlu released a new, larger spool that is compatible with Bambu (and other) refills, and I couldn't find one that didn't interfere with my AMS 2 Pros.

I've been using this one for about a month now with no issue. I recommend installing it on the left side of the spool (see photos); I haven't really tested it on the right, and I like my spools to match.

It doesn't matter which of the three sets of holes you place the clip in; the filament will always reach it.

If you're going to use the clip while drying your filament, I recommend printing in PETG, ABS, or some other filament with greater heat resistance than PLA.

I am looking forward to feedback from folks with an AMS 1, as I don't have any to test on.
