Very cool little print that I was able to customize with the gift recipient’s name. Print-in-place hinges and lock worked like a charm! Be careful not to turn the key the wrong way, though, or it will get stuck.. Thought I was going to have to snap it off at first but finally wiggled it out. Haven’t had any issues since. Again, really clever design and beautiful print! Great job!

You can use the Text Shape tool in Bambu Studio (attached a screenshot for you). You'll have to Angle to 180 since the lid technically prints upside down. Then you'll also want change the Embedded Depth so it sinks into the surface of the print a bit. Then Thickness is just personal preference on how much you'd like the letters to protrude. You can then use the Fill Tool in Color Painting to change the surface color of the lettering.

@clevengergl I would love your input here. It's my second try on printring a name on it but it's messed up as you can see on the picture. Studio also says that it's a floating object so maybe it's my problem but idk how to fix it. I'm pretty new to 3D printing though. I followed all your instructions above and for the second print, I even tried to change the font and size to bigger but still encountering the same issue. What would you recommend me changing?
