Description

Portable Starlink Mini Battery Mount – Dual Ryobi 18V Power Base

This custom 3D-printed enclosure is designed to power the Starlink Mini using one or two Ryobi 18V batteries (2Ah or 4Ah). Ideal for off-grid use, remote work sites, emergency setups, or outdoor adventures, the unit allows flexible power input while remaining compact, durable, and easy to transport.

The mount includes:

  • Dual battery ports with integrated Schottky diodes for hot-swapping and protection
  • Built-in buck converter for efficient 12V output to Starlink Mini
  • Digital voltage/capacity display for real-time monitoring
  • Using a APACHE 4800 case from Harbor Freight for storage

Average Starlink Mini power draw: ~20 to 40 watts

Estimated runtimes at full power (45 watts):

  • 1 × 18V 2Ah battery ≈ 45 minutes
  • 2 × 18V 2Ah batteries ≈ 1.5 hours
  • 1 × 18V 4Ah battery ≈ 1.5 hours
  • 2 × 18V 4Ah batteries ≈ 3 hours
  • 1 × 18V 4Ah + 1 × 18V 2Ah battery ≈ 2.25 hours
