Gundam Crossbone Vanguard Pendant (.2mm Nozzle)

Have you ever searched for a pendant inspired by Gundam’s Crossbone Vanguard… and found nothing good out there? Same here.
That’s why I decided to create one from scratch, as part of an exclusive series of 3 Gundam-themed pendants.

This is the first in the series, featuring the iconic logo of the Crossbone Vanguard faction.
My goal was to make a design that is:

• faithful to the original,
• easy to print,
• and optimized for clean multicolor printing without filament waste.

💡 The trick

The pendant is made of multiple parts, designed to be printed separately in different colors and then assembled.

Here’s how it works:

• The colored parts are just 1.5 mm thick and are printed flat, so you can use the clean bottom surface as the visible side.
• The outer case and black central part are printed in a single color, saving time and filament.
• To achieve the best detail on thin layers, a 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended.

🧩 Easy Assembly with Glue

Assembly is quick and simple using a bit of cyanoacrylate glue or something similar:

1. Insert the first colored part into the outer case, with the clean printed side facing outward.
2. Add a thin layer of glue.
3. Place the black central part in position.
4. Finally, glue the second colored part on top, again with the nicest side facing out.

The result is a clean, sharp multicolor pendant—perfect for cosplay, collecting, or as a tribute to one of the most beloved mecha universes ever.

It’s a small gesture that really helps independent creators like me.
