Hardboilus Maximus
Born in the steamy mists of Thermopotticus, baptized in the bubbling waters of the Aqua Culinaria, Hardboilus Maximus was destined for greatness — more than just another egg in the carton.
From a young age, he showed unmatched strength: the unwavering resilience of a truly hard-boiled warrior — never trembling, never soft. While others cracked under pressure, he endured… and became legend.
At the Great Breakfast Battle of Mueslius Field, he rode into war atop a buttered toast, screaming his iconic war cry:
“For yolk and glooooooooooory!”
He fought side by side with the most legendary heroes of the Eggdom – Scrambleus the Fierce, Sunnyus Sideus, and Eggzilla the Undercooked. Together, they vanquished the dreaded Sir Salm-Onella, who had plagued the land with soggy breakfasts and lukewarm despair.
But even in peace, he remains vigilant. Every morning, Hardboilus Maximus faces his eternal foe:
The Spoon of Destiny.
While creating my Roman egg cup, the idea for Hardboilus Maximus came to life!
And here he is now – hard as eggshell and shining with glory.
The egg cup parts are simply pushed together and designed to hold firmly without any glue.
If that’s not the case for you, feel free to leave a comment – I’ll be happy to adjust the model if any issues come up.
If the fit is too loose, you can also use 1–2 drops of glue at the connection points.
I’ve also added the helmet as a separate print profile, for those who’d like to use it with a regular egg cup.
I’ll provide an additional assembly guide as soon as I’ve printed and tested the model via MakerWorld.
If you like the design, I’d really appreciate a like – and feel free to follow me for future updates!
