How to Personalise

To create a print like this on a T-shirt, you need to follow specific steps and pay close attention. You can personalize your clothing in a few steps, provided you precisely follow the instructions given:

  1. Place a layer of baking paper on the printer plate using appropriate clips or magnets, being careful not to obstruct the print head and ensuring the paper is flat so it adheres well to the plate
  2. Perform an automatic or manual bed leveling calibration
  3. Make sure the TPU is not damp (other materials cannot be used, as they would be too rigid)
  4. Design the text or logo as desired with a height of 0.4mm, remembering to mirror it
  5. Set the print with TPU at 0.2mm resolution and a 0.4mm nozzle
  6. Apply hairspray or glue to the baking paper and print
  7. Transfer the print onto the chosen clothing with an iron, being careful not to press too hard and not to remove the paper until the print has adhered to the fabric
  8. Turn the clothing inside out and place the iron on it for 20-30 seconds

Congratulations, you have just personalized your piece of clothing

ATTENTION!

Do not use water in the iron, or you may have problems with the print adhering to the fabric

I am not responsible for damage caused to appliances used in the process and/or to clothing and/or 3D Printers involved. The use of this brief guide is at your own risk. The guide was written for informational and dissemination purposes; please pay close attention during the process

The risks are as follows:

  1. Clogging if the baking paper is not laid flat or if a fixative is not used to make the print adhere to the paper
  2. Damaging the iron plate: I recommend using an old iron or one not in use because direct contact with TPU could melt it and stick it to the plate
  3. Damaging the chosen T-shirt or garment: I recommend testing on used or old clothing because even poorly done transfers can inextricably bond to the fabric or create stains
  4. Damaging the washing machine: if the print is not transferred well to the shirt or garment, there is a risk of TPU pieces detaching during washing and potentially affecting the washing machine, dryer, or other appliance used

unfortunately I don't think it's possible, I have always used tpu for this application. pla would break as it is not flexible. I recommend you buy some tpu and print it without ams, it is a very useful material for various applications and not just for this one. but be careful because the process for customizing t-shirts described in the description risks not being successful and ruining the t-shirt or the printer if you do the fixing of the baking paper on the plate incorrectly

I think it was a success for my first try ( first t-shirt transfer) I would recommend tapping the paper so it won’t move when printing and print slow with slow with TPU

you can use any software and then turn the logo into svg online, after that you can extrude it between 0.4 and 0.6 mm and have fun printing!
