Description
Convenient Adapter for Standard Cereal Containers for Filament Storage
This adapter is specifically designed for the prevalent cereal containers, which are commonly utilized for filament containment. The lateral apertures on both sides enhance air circulation and facilitate more rapid internal heating
The hinges can be readily and securely affixed with a short segment of filament
Fully compatible with conventional extensions for filament drying enclosures
Of particular recommendation is „The Ultimate Cereal Container Filament Drybox“, which I personally employ
In conjunction with the sealed silica desiccant container
Assembly:
1. Extract the seal from the original lid
2. Incorporate the seal into the base component
3. Optionally embed magnets for sealing alternative 1
4. Attach the tabs utilizing a filament segment
5. Trim the filament
6. Also remove any filament from the four rounded sections, as the drying station will subsequently engage here
7. Option 1 - Integrate magnets into the cover
8. Option 2 - TPU covers
9. Mount the enclosure and secure the latches
10. Introduce accessories and commence the desiccation process
