Dovetail-SYSTEM for SKADIS or "Screw-on" - Rail

Dovetail SYSTEM

I would like to introduce you to my "Dovetail SYSTEM".

→ It's designed to simplify the organization and storage of your 3D printing supplies and tools.

I am currently setting up the system and would like to share it here so that we can work on it together. I hope some people are interested in coming up with ideas and designs! :)

I have attached all files in ".stp" format, which can be downloaded and edited.

The “main rail” is situated in this model and can be affixed in two distinct manners. One version can be mounted on the SKADIS board, and the other can be screwed on (see pictures).

The images above also describe the assembly and arrangement of the individual components.

IKEA's SKADIS boards are available in three standard widths. These widths are preconfigured in the print profile and ready to print. Depending on your needs, you may need to add hooks and end stops. The hooks have different tolerances to fit your SKADIS board.

→ I use "Hook 5,0" hooks, they work best for me.

The main rail can be hung on any row of the SKADIS board.  Simply insert the hooks accordingly.

I have already developed storage components for tools and similar items. They can be adapted to suit your tools. 

→ They will be uploaded and compiled into the collection within the next few days.
