🎵 Audica CS Series Speaker Grill End Cap Replacement - Version 2.0

Model Description

This is a replacement end cap for the front metal speaker grill on the Audica CS Series speakers, including the CS-S1and CS-LCR models.

Key differences from V1: 

• grill holes printed in hexagons rather than spheres (matches original part)
• grill hole size increased - allows for greater sound permeation (also matches original part size)
• number of grill holes matches the number on the original part
• mounting pole hollowed out (matches original part)
• copied holes in the metal gril attachment point to match the original part

The original caps are prone to snapping or breaking over time, which can result in the speaker grill no longer staying securely in place. This custom-designed cap replicates the form and function of the original while being more durable and easy to print at home.

🛠️ Installation Instructions

1. Carefully peel off the speaker cloth from the old end cap (or remove entirely if you're planning to re-upholster)
   1. If re-upholstering
2. Remove the broken cap from the grill.
3. Press fit the new replacement cap into place — it holds via friction.
4. Apply contact glue to the inside edge of the cap. allow this to become tacky before pressing the speaker cloth into place (2:30 mins works well)
   1. I've listed the replacement cloth I used in the materials section (I have no affiliation) - cheap enough and looks identical to the original.

• Material: PLA (Black recommended to remain hidden behind cloth - I've just run out, so I sharpied them in black afterwards)
• Layer Height: 0.12mm
• Infill: 15% gyroid (or higher for durability)
• Supports: Tree (Organic)
