Narsil / Anduril Sword Lord Of The Rings

I was not happy with the split done by original maker. So I split it into pieces that fit my P1S.

Its important that your bed is clean and adhesion is good, or the possibility of a failure when printing the hilt is big!

The tip of the sword is not strong so be careful when swinging it around like Aragorn!

There is space for a M8 threaded rod in the middle of the sword for rigidity.

The Connectors makes shure that the sword wil just fit together one correct way.

I reccomend you do a dry fit of the sword first so you have control of the orientation of each part. When done I reccomend adding som super glue before fitting the threaded rod.

Do NOT fit the end of the hilt before the threaded rod is im place through the sword! It will then be a nightmare to assemble. Screw the end of the hilt on manually afterwards. I have made som pins that you can use of you rod is not long enough but the the sword is just for display!

When adding the threaded rod I put two nuts on the end and used my drill to screw it into the sword. Beware of the torq of the drill!
