Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like the design, don't forget to boost it! Thanks for supporting my fun hobby.

Update: I have uploaded a print profile that is confirmed to work with the IR40, now you IR40 boys can join the cool kids ;)

Want to show off all your shiny parts? So did I, that's why I designed the IR60's bedless chassis. Featuring a 7.5-degree angles skid, adjustable front shock mounting locations, front mount battery tray, and a hinged half shell that retains stock front clasp this chassis will stand out.

If you choose to print, please post your rigs! I get lots of inspiration from you guys and it will continue to help me come up with new ideas.

It is confirmed the IR40 body does not work. I will see about getting my hands on one to design a similar chassis for the IR40.

Some things to note:

This print file does not include the “Sick Rig” lettering in the rear, if you would like to add your own text , you can do so in Bambu Studio.

The print in place hinge has very tight tolerance, you may have to use pliers to hold it while you “break it free” on the first rotation after this you will see how well it functions. The hinge mounts on the inside of the body, with the flat mounting portion to the rear of the vehicle.

I would highly suggest velcroing the battery to the battery tray (this only work with lay down servos if you you do not have a lay down servo mount velcro the battery to the rear of the body shell), and the esc/receiver to the motor. This will ensure everything stays in place.

This chassis was designed for around 59mm shocks and high trail links, I would advise against running shorter shock with the high trail links but if you are running defender/bronco links it should still perform well with 59's or 53's.

I installed nylock nuts on my shock's screws just as a precaution, you do not need to do this but if you would like to there is room.
