I've done quite a bit of painting over the years, and while I don't look forward to doing it again, at least now I'll have these convenient painting cups. They're designed to use a 6 and ½ inch wide sandwich bag as the liner, which keeps the cup cleaner, and will allow you to seal up the paint if you need to. The liners you get with commercially available paint cups are proprietary, kind of expensive, and usually don't give you any way to seal the paint up if you need to take a break. You can get sandwich bags just about anywhere for very little money.

One of these paint cups has a more universal design with a pentagon shaped handle which you can use with brushes up to 2 ½ inches wide. You can attach magnets to the side. There's no specific cutout so you can use whatever size and shape of magnet you have on hand, so long as it isn't too thick. I recommend you glue on the magnets with epoxy or medium viscosity cyanoacrylate glue. The handle has a hole in the top which I would use to keep a cleaning rag, or you could put a foam brush in it. I put some angled lips on the front and back of the cup to wipe excess paint from the brush. This version is for holding with your left hand, and painting with your right. If you need the opposite configuration, just mirror the model along the X axis.

The second style of paint cup is designed to be held onto your hand, rather than your hand holding the handle. Since you don't have to keep a grip on the handle, it's less fatiguing over time. This model fits my hand comfortably. I usually wear a large or extra large glove. I'm sorry if it doesn't fit your hand well. Scaling the model up or down will affect the magnet hole and the fitment of the liner, so I don't recommend doing that. The top of the handle has a cutout made specifically for 40x10x3 mm magnets that I found on Amazon. This cup works for brushes up to 2 inches wide. I put some angled lips on the sides of the cup to wipe excess paint from the brush.
