Welcome to my hinged clasp.
My 1st versionof my turnover chain clasp was flexi and sort of went viral, so I wanted to improve upon it. https://makerworld.com/en/models/859326-chain-necklace-clasp-flexi-chain-link-with-detent
This version of “The clasp” still has a locking ball detent. It is print in place. and this version is hinged. This allows for more possibilities than other solutions. Entire chains can use the slotted in combination with this hinged-detent link. Or, make entire chains with just the locking hinged-detent. The choice gives your necklace, or other chain more possibilities.
After printing, it will need a little working in; just open and close it around 5 times. I left the tolerances super tight on purpose so it wouldn't accidentally open.
