Jute String Roll / Yarn Storage & Dispenser

I needed to keep a Jute String Roll / Yarn safe from getting tangled (or loss) with an easy way to dispense. I looked around and couldn’t find something that will fit my needs specially that I had a cylindrical shaped roll, I utilized FaberUnserzeit customizable round box with threaded lid design found in thingiverse. I’ve added two extra things to it, a center rod to hold the roll in place within the cylinder while allowing it to roll out freely and a vertical opening in one side to help in dispensing the string when needed. I’ve also designed a small lock to hold the pull string in place (at top or bottom) when not in use, that also can double as a guide if you need it.

Dimensions:

The cylinder radius is 100mm and its 183mm high without the led-on top.

The Led is 13mm high.

The lock is 16mm wide x 7mm depth x 10mm high

Note about the lock:

• If the lock is not holding in place the way it should you can scale it up or down as needed it a small print and you should not have problem reprinting it as needed.
• Use the middle of the opining in the cylinder to push the lock in, it should be easy after that to slide it upward or downward as needed.
