Rune Puzzle dial - DND terrain (supportless)

A low hum emanates from the ancient pedestal, revealing a stone disc etched with forgotten runes. An arrow of weathered rock awaits your command, beckoning you to align the symbols and unravel the secrets of this forgotten chamber. Only then shall the path forward be revealed.

Use this rune puzzle dial to incorporate a puzzle element into your (Dungeons and Dragons) adventures. With the rotatable dials you can let your adventurours search for a combination of runes and enter them in the puzzle dial.

It combines perfectly with these rock formations and stone portal, so that (when they enter the right combination) a portal can open to advance the story.

I included stones with (and without) matching runes, so you can hide them in the enviroment if you want to do is.

The model is totally supportless and with 5 easy clicks assembled.

The amount of fillament lost printing it in 2 colors is pretty okey for this design, so I added that print profile after testing it.

When printing in white as a base color, do not flush into object.

For the connectors: when removing the brim, make sure the “legs” of the connector are seperated and the brim between the “legs”' is removed.

The print profile has 3 connectors, because it takes more time to print a spare one in case something breaks, then to just print 3.

Some ideas to incorporate this Rune Puzzle dial into your adventure:

• Scatter rocks with the correct runes across the terrain. When the dial is set to this combination, a portal opens.
• Scatter all runes across the room, but only when combined with light, the good ones glow green, the bad ones glow red.
• When a wrong combination is entered: spawn an enemy!
• Carvings in the wall show a certain combination, when entered correctly, a door opens.
• All players need to stand on the preselected runes, hidden across the room.
