Description

Stylish Classic Belt and Buckle.  Works just like a normal belt you'd buy from a store.  I use this Belt every day.  It looks and feels like a leather belt with contour and stitching that runs along the outer edges of the strap.

The Leash only needs about 80 grams to 130 grams of TPU, depending on your belt size.

The Buckle is about 15 or 17 grams of PLA, PETg, or ABS.

Many Lengths and 2 widths:

  1. 1.4-inch-wide for jeans or cargo.
  2. 1.2-inch-wide for formal work pants.

Here is a 3D image of a section view to illustrate the contours better than I did with my photography.

Features:

  • 7 Holes for adjustability.  (Holes are about 1-inch apart from another.)
  • The different lengths start at 26-inch and go up by 2-inch increments.  Length examples: 30 inch, 32 inch, 34 inch, and so on.
  • Belt length sizes are from the tongue to the fourth or center hole of the leash.  So, the 34-inch would be the “LENGTH LISTED,” shown below.

  • Leash Width and thickness.  1.2-inch width shown below.  There is also a 1.4-inch-wide version.

  • Robust Buckle.

Fitment:  Your belt size is usually about 2 inches larger than waste size.  It's a good idea to measure one of your existing belts to see what fits you.

Filament and Print Settings:

Leash:  TPU 95A or Softer.  Works best with Bambu TPU 95A HF.  Also works great with Overture regular TPU, but must be printed slow.

0.2 Layer,  3 wall loops, 15% grid infill

Buckle:  PLA, ABS/ABS-GF or Petg/Petg-CF.  I've printed the buckle with all these filaments.

0.16 Layer,  3 wall loops, 15% grid infill

Assembly:

1.Remove the designed-in support from the buckle.

2.  Insert the TPU Belt leash through the buckle, and pull it all the way through.

3.  Snap the tongue into the buckle.

4. Slide the retaining loop on the belt leash and its ready for use.

Tips for printing the Leash:

  1. Be sure to dry your TPU filament.  Damp filament will lead to stringing.
  2. Slower the better.  For High Speed/Flow TPU, set the “Max-Volumetric Speed,” to 6.

2. For regular Speed/Flow TPU, set the “Max-Volumetric Speed,” to 2.5.
