What orientation have people been using to print this? When it's imported into Bambu Studio, it's standing on it's side. So far, two trials at printing in that orientation has produced spaghetti.

Yes on its side is what I designed it to be printed, bed adhesion can be an issue. Outer brim should be enabled with 5 passes or so. Plate has to be cleaned with soap and water. The curl in the design really likes to pull off the plate.

Hi @MTBCanadian . I was able to print the holder after cleaning the plate as you suggested. Thanks! If I may make a suggestion, there is another use case you might consider. I do a lot of work on cars that requires a scanner. Complete system scans can take a few minutes to run before the real work can begin, so I find myself sitting behind the wheel of the vehicle quite a bit. Scanners of this sort are typically tablets, but come in a thick, rugged case that doesn't work very well with the holder as the lip is too short. May I ask that you consider making another version that has a thicker lip, please?

Perfect Print! Fits nice, little on the high side when a big tablet sits on it... any way a longer model gets available?

Took 2 tries to print this one. The first one failed about 1/3 way thru but didnt catch it as I was at work. Had some spaghetti when I got home to clean up. 2nd time went much smoother but I did print it while I was home to stop it if it also failed. I modified it - added a hole to the actual shelf so I can charge either my phone or kindle whichever I am using.

hey would the Jan updated one in the white model be better for an iPad with a case on it?

The original design was designed to fit the otterbox defender case, and still have a bit of room. The Jan 1 update was a request for automotive technicians to use there scanners that are thicker.

Welcome! Definitely a concern, personally I have stored mine on floor in the back seat all summer and it hasn’t warped, although out of direct sun and rear tinted windows. Depends on what part of the world you live in I would guess. I did have a friend have some serious warping on my laptop version. I printed that one with PETG and it’s been good since. I have not tried this model with PETG yet but I would make sure the plate is clean and enable the brim to get good bed adhesion. The curve of this model tends to want to lift off that end off I find.
