Description

This is a Mini ITX case that I designed in the style of an Amiga 1000. This case features an interchangeable face plate, as well as an interchangeable rear panel. I created this to hold my OtterX, so I've included an OtterX rear plate, as well as an OtterX-branded face plate. Along with that, I've included a blank face plate that you can use or modify.

This case was featured in my YouTube video on the OtterX:

Required Parts:

  • Four (4) M3 x 8mm Countersunk Screws - Used for attaching the lid
  • Four (4) M3 x 6mm Countersunk Screws - Used for attaching the feet
  • Rubber Feet - Not required, but highly recommended
  • 16mm Case Button - I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09W9J4QSL

I used the pre-sliced profile for the faceplate, the supports came off super easy and clean, unfortunately I used PLA and the clips snapped very easily. The rest was printed in Polymaker ABS and should work great for an 8700G build.

I love this case .. have you thought about building or providing a blank ( full ) back plate ? Thinking to print one for a Raspberry pi4 or an Amd mitx board.
