Description

A rear rack I designed for my KLX300 (the dual sport, not the dirt bike model). The strap holes are 40mmx6mm, and the dimensions of the rack are 200mmx170mm. I designed the rack to mount using the mounting points for the small tool bag that comes with the bike. The rack seems quite sturdy to me, but of course use it at your own risk. Be sure to print it out of a material that can withstand the elements & stresses involved (not PLA).

The rack reuses most of the hardware that the tool bag uses, but you will need two M6x20 bolts and two 20mm washers for the forward mounts.

This worked great. I printed in ASA 100% infill.

needs to be printed with more infill, it broke off with my first wheelie, barely any weight on it. I printed with ABS. Otherwise it was a perfect fit and a great design, but it WILL not handle anything other than a cruise down a paved road. 5 star design just needs to be stronger. I will reprint with more infill then revisit my rating.
