Summary
Want a tiny C4 detonator that's print-in-place and clicks when you squeeze it? This model also has a keychain attachment as well in case you want to attach it to a keychain or attach a keychain charm. This model has nice detail for its small size, and includes a non-ams version.
No assembly at all, just print it and it springs and clicks right away.
Tips
- Let the clicker cool for best results. Best strategy is to let the plate cool down, then remove. However, if you remove from the plate right away, at least give the part a few minutes to cool before clicking it. Otherwise the plastic is still soft and may be malformed when clicked.
- Avoid Matte PLA for clickers if you can – Metal and Basic seem to work better for clickers. Although to be fair, I used matte since it was the only similar green I had, lol.
Filaments
- Matte Dark Green (replace with Metal or Basic if you have it since matte doesn't work as well for clickers)
- Metal Iron Gray Black

This model was tested and printed successfully with Bambu PLA filament and a Bambu X1C printer.
Having an issue while printing this model?
- Try a different filament – filament that takes on moisture leads to print issues, so testing a newer filament may rule that out
- Print at a slower speed – finer details in print-in-place models, such as springs and clickers, can print more easily at slower speeds.
- Make sure your build plate is clean – after a while, build plates get dirty and your prints won't adhere to the bed – you can clean it with dish soap and a sponge.
