Update 1: ESPectrum +2A Case - Version 2

Update 2: ESPectrum +2A Case - Version 3

Enjoying the recent version 1.4 of the ESPectrum emulator programmed by Víctor Iborra I have launched my 3D vision of an ESPectrum +2

I had been wanting to combine these two projects for some time, the ESPectrum emulator running on a Lilygo and the powaDCR digital player, and in the end I made something simple in 3D that I like and that I share here with anyone interested

Due to its size, I have divided the design into several pieces. These must be joined together (top and bottom) ensuring beforehand that they fit and are correctly aligned with each other, removing any support residue used in their printing. These pieces can be glued with cyanoacrylate and fastened with small M2 screws with their corresponding nuts. The top and bottom parts are fastened with M3x15 metric screws

This case accommodates a keyboard used with 7” tablets. For its use, a USB to PS/2 keyboard/mouse interface converter is required, using a Raspberry Pi Pico (ps2x2pico project). The keyboard rests on a tray which in turn will be screwed to the top of the case… for its fixation, although not strictly necessary, I have used small inserts for M2 screws

PowaDCR is programmed by Antonio Tamairón and uses an ESP32 Audio Kit board and a 3.5” TFT HMI LCD as hardware. Both are secured or fixed to the case with M3x6mm screws

On the left side, it has two cavities for adding an ESPjoy or similar. On the lower right rear side, it has a small space dedicated to housing a speaker that is inserted from the side ...

And I have nothing more to tell
