Smartphone photography stand
Print Profile(1)

Description
This stand is mainly intended for top-down shots, like photographing documents, sheet music, or book pages. You can use smartphone apps to take pictures without touching the shutter button—some even allow voice-activated capture.
I’ve been using it to take pictures of the printed components.
Hardware that you will need:
4 bolts and nuts M6, 40 mm long
Superglue
A bladeknife or similar

This stand is not a quick-adjustment stand. Each connector has interlocking tabs labeled either '0' or '1.' Connect a '0' to a '1'

The mount includes a screw clamp and a lamp foot. The lamp foot must be securely screwed into a surface; otherwise, it will be unstable and may tip.

The brackets are printed in three pieces (for technical reasons) and require assembly with glue. The parts fit tightly—apply strong pressure or use pliers if needed. (I’ve already glued the plug and threaded part here.)

The smartphone mount is secured by an underside screw, and the grip width can be adjusted to fit your device. For better grip, you may want to attach rubber pads—otherwise, it might be too slick. The phone holder attaches by screwing onto the upper bracket.

You can adjust the stand’s angles however you like. Just experiment and be patient! :-)

Hope you enjoy it!
