This creature is a veritable colossus of the seas, an epic challenge that combines the ferocity of a dragon with the resilience of a giant turtle.
- Challenge Rating (CR): 17. This is a boss-level creature, a lethal challenge for a party of 15th-level or higher characters.
- Armor Class (AC): 20. Its gigantic stone shell and scales are nearly impenetrable.
- Hit Points (HP): 341 (22d20 + 110). It is a massive tank, capable of withstanding an enormous amount of damage.
- Speed: 9 meters (30 feet), Swimming 12 meters (40 feet). It moves surprisingly quickly on land, but is an unstoppable force in the water.
- Size: Gargantuan. It is so large that it occupies a space of 6 meters by 6 meters (20x20 feet).
Attacks and Combat Abilities
- Multiattack: The Dragon Turtle can make one Bite attack and two Claw attacks on the same turn.
- Bite: A devastating attack with its jaws full of sharp teeth, dealing massive piercing damage.
- Claw: Its gigantic claws strike with brutal force, inflicting bludgeoning damage.
- Steam Breath (Recharge 5-6): This is its most feared ability. It can unleash a cone of scorching steam covering a large area. Any creature caught in the cone suffers massive fire damage unless it succeeds on a Dexterity saving throw.
- Amphibious: It can breathe both in the air and underwater, making it equally dangerous on land as in the ocean depths.
- Fire Resistance: Its skin and shell are immune to fire damage.
You can use it as the guardian of a sunken treasure, the terror of maritime trade routes, or the final boss of an underwater dungeon.
