Description

There are many pool noodle swords out there and I decided to make my own as well. My goal was to make it a little more feminine with some subtle gems on it, but is good for everyone. It has a bit of a faceted look since so many are smooth out there. Other than that it is pretty ordinary.

The part that goes into the noodle is 28mm including the slightly extruded corkscrew. The guard goes out about 84mm which made the guard still show around most of my noodles, but then I had one (the orange one) that was the same size as the guard. This also works, but I like when it sticks out.

In the Print Profile, you can either print it straight up and down (which gives the best finish) or you can print at an angle with support. I did this for the Yellow because I felt I would have a stronger sword if the lines went side to side. If is up to you what you'd like best but I used more perimeters with the angle printed one.

You just screw it into the pool noodle. You can cut the noodle to the length you want.

Designed using Tinkercad.

I made an Instructables tutorial sharing the design process for this and my other pool noodle sword handle.

I also have a Minecraft Sword inspired pool noodle sword handle
