Description

The Red Hoods new mask for 2025,

Please please please wash your build plate and check your filament to make sure it is dry. This print will need the Brims on it to print correctly trust me, I know. It failed a lot until I remembered we have brim supports for these kinds of things. so please if you change anything use brim supports and tree supports.

It will never match the iconic look of Red Hoods, red helmet but I liked the simple look of this one in his new comic coming out this year, so I hope you guys like it. It's a great easy simple print only taking 56g
***It is sized to my head so please RESIZE if needed, it is sized 153mm from side hole to hole just a heads up on that.****
I added variable layer Hight to the nose area and brows to give it a smoother finish it added about 45min to the print time but worth it once you see it finished
only a little clean up around the eye area but nothing horrible and a very quick sanding. hopefully your supports pop right off the mask like mine did, mine stayed on the plate and the mask popped right off.

i have tried 3 times to print this, each time it fails and messes up on the nose peice causing the print to break! i even slowed it down to 50% speed and it still happened! not sure why but ill probably try a different mask stl

aww man sorry about that, which machine are you printing this on? maybe I can try again on one like you are using and see if I get the same problem. also are you printing it straight from the file off of the site? like nothing in the setting are changed? just trying to narrow down the problem for you so I can help the best I can. sorry again but I will try to help you the In any way I can.

hey im printing on the A1, i havent changed any settings at all and printed straight from the site! i even slowed it down thinking 100% was to fast and each time at the nose it breaks off

ahhh man, ummm try giving it a little heat with a hair dryer or heat gun then if it’s just the width you can heat it up and spread it out a little more so it may fit
