V-Spooler is free here but it would be great if you can support me by either joining my club on Printables for at least a month, which gives you access to this and other models for the duration of membership. An alternative is to also buy it from the Printables store. Also boosts are welcome, thank you!
My manufacturing partner VisionToCreate3D provides hardware kits, printed parts and fully assembled V-Spoolers at their store, for which Fyrby Additive receives a percentage. You can find the rail mod here.
It brings improvements including:
- Very stable and no more wobble
- The carrier and filament holder are merged, smaller and stronger
- Much simpler, uses less parts and easier assembly/disassembly
- Better quality re-spooling
- Fits V-Spooler, V-Spooler X with or without motor mod
Here is a colour 3D preview of a fully loaded V-Spooler including the motor and rail mods.
We have conducted a few tests and are pretty happy with it, here is the first test:
Please note the guide and parts list are currently incomplete and possibly a bit wrong, and I am working to finish them as soon as possible.
To add this mod to an existing V-Spooler, you will need the following additional hardware:
- LML9B 100mm linear rail
- 4x M3 heat set inserts (Ruthex or CNC kitchen work great)
