Description
Mini Disc Golf Basket
Immerse yourself in the world of disc golf with this 3D-printed model of the Latitude 64 Trainer disc golf basket at a 1:3 scale!
Whether you are a passionate disc golf player, want to expand your collection, or simply seek a unique decorative piece. It is also ideal for improving your precision in "desk putting"!
Features & Details:
- Authentic Design: This model was carefully replicated and reflects the design of the original Latitude 64 Trainer disc golf basket. In some places I had to modify the design for the sake of printability.
- Four-part assembly for easy printing: The basket consists of 4 main components: stable base, basket, center pole with integrated top plate, and a cap for the top
- Functional chains: Included are 16 separate chains, realistically printed in PLA gray. These have connecting eyelets and two rings for attachment.
- Bonus: Mini-discs: Complement your setup with the included STL files for matching discs with a diameter of approx. 7 cm. Perfect for playing or display!
- Ideal for: Disc golf enthusiasts and collectors, unique desk decoration, gift for disc golf friends, training aid for "indoor putting"
Printing recommendations:
We recommend printing the model with PLA filament for best results and ease of handling.
- Recommended material: PLA (e.g. yellow for the basket and gray for the chains)
- Layer height: 0.2mm for a good compromise between detail and print time.
- Infill: Basket, base, center pole: approx. 15-20% for sufficient stability - chains and discs: 100% for maximum strength and weight.
- Chains: Require slight supports.
- Build Plate Adhesion: A brim for smaller or more delicate parts such as the chains and the cap can improve adhesion.
- Print speed: Your printer's default settings for PLA are usually sufficient.
- Printer: Optimized for FDM printers.
Assembly instructions:
- Print all 4 main parts (base, basket, center pole with plate, cap) and the 16 chains.
- Position the basket on the upper end of the base pole.
- Slide the two rings over the center pole and firmly insert it into the base pole.
- Attach the cap to the top of the center pole.
- Thread the 16 printed chains with the eyelets through the upper rings, the chains with 15 links on the outside and those with 14 on the inside.
- Attach the 24 eyelets first to the chains and then to the rings, it is best to start from the inside and bend the joint back.
- Your mini disc golf basket is now ready!
