Snap together Hex Grid Tiles

Description
Easy to assemble hexagon tiles for making your own Battletech style maps. Photos show a ‘standard’ 32mm hexagon based battle mech figure, the base fits easily inside the hexagons. 32mm round bases also fit inside.

Have you ever wanted to have an easy to store and assemble hex grid for Battletech or other hex-based wargames? Now you have one!
Designed to snap together with only a small bit of effort, modular, allows you to build any size map to cover your favorite terrain matt or surface.
The 7 hexagon tile acts as the center of any layout. Add six more around it for a small map. Then add another six more of the 7 hexagon tiles, and 6 of the dog-leg shaped tile around the outside to get a nice big hexagon of hexes! or just use all 7 hexagon tiles. When snapping together, you will need to allow the print to flex a bit to get all the little tabs to pop into the holes. Be gentle, and just press / flex it a bit - it will work! I've not tried other filament materials than PLA, but PLA has plenty of flex / snap to get this system to work.
For a larger hexagon of hexagon map, use 19 of the 7 hexagon tile, then use the 7 cell dog leg tile along with more of the 7 hexagon center tiles to complete the map. Play around, there are lots of fun combos.
You can scale it up or down slightly without breaking the ability to easily fit together. I'd recommend not smaller than 90% of original size, and not larger than 110%. If you need other sizes, leave a comment on the size base you need to fit inside the hexagons and I'll make some more.
