Portable Car Table

I designed this portable car table with the idea of making the most of the dimensions of the bed of my previous printer, a Bambu Lab A1 Mini.
The final dimensions are 170 mm wide and 240 mm long, designed to fit within the printer's limits while still providing a large and useful surface.
 

The support was designed to attach to the central armrest (in my case on a 2019 Volkswagen T-Roc) via two integrated angled hooks that interlock stably but without forcing.
 

The whole thing is modular: I divided the top into two halves connected by press-fit joints (X-shaped) to make it easy to transport and less bulky when not needed.

Assembly is quick and easy: simply interlock the two pieces and attach the whole thing to the armrest.
 

The project stems from a personal need to have a surface to rest things on during journeys, especially during stops. It is designed to be easily printable on a single bed.
